These little morsels of deliciousness are created by our Resident Nutritionist, Jan Marie. Just a few ingredients – all natural and healthy; they are a great sugary treat substitute for the kids (and adults). Give them a try, we’re sure the little ones will be pleasantly surprised!
• 1 cup of tahini
• 8 dates
• ½ tsp Himalayan salt
• ½ cup desiccated coconut
• 100gm Loving Earth or Panna Raw Chocolate
Blend tahini, dates, Himalayan salt and coconut in a food processor until combined, add water if needed. Press on to a lined baking tray or loaf tin and pop into the fridge to harden for 10/15 mins. Melt chocolate in a bowl over a pot of boiling water, ensuring no water gets into the chocolate bowl as it will stop the consistency from being smooth. Remove the tray, pour the chocolate over the tray then cut into slices once set, or cut into individual piece and place dollops on each piece. Return to the fridge or freezer to set.
