The First KickStart for Kids Fundraising Dinner

In February, KickStart for Kids held the first fundraising dinner event at the Stirling Golf Club in the Adelaide Hills. What a night!  170 guests enjoyed pre dinner drinks on the balcony, overlooking the 18th hole, before being seated for a sumptuous, 3 course meal provided by Adam Bishop from InStyle Catering and Events, and wines from Wicks Estate.  Over 45 auction items were up for grabs including a Vietnam Cruise donated by Travelmarvel, Michael Hussey signed and framed cricket bat donated by CBA, a ‘meet and greet’ with Hamish and Andy donated by Austereo, a Power, Crows and Carlton signed footy guernsey,  holidays with Novotel Barossa, Prime Hotels, Aurora Resorts and Hotels, and Aruma Ski Resort, and food hampers from The Passionate Foodie, Robern Menz and Beerenberg, to name a few.

The raffle was also a hot item on the night, with a stunning aquamarine and diamond ring donated by James Thredgold Jewellers as first prize, and a CBD Endota Spa experience and hamper, James Hazelgrove, Serafino, d’Arenberg and Chapel Hill wines also up for grabs.

Thanks to to Hayley and Burgo from the SAFM morning crew for helping us on the night, and a special mention to Burgo for busting out those moves on the dance floor!
